A Ryanair lodge group part was captured the second his plane arrived in the UK after a stunned traveler shot his mid-air act.
A Ryanair flight crew member who pleaded guilty to downing whiskey and wine from the drinks trolley mid-flight has insisted: “I am not a criminal.”
Sam Thompson, 26, was reportedly seen “necking the whole bottle” of wine while on board the flight from Rzeszow, Poland, to Stansted, UK.
The British cabin crew member was filmed by a horrified passenger during his mid-air act – and he was subsequently arrested after the plane landed, The Sun reports.
Thompson last month owned up to playing out a flight capability as an individual from lodge team while his capacity to do so was disabled by drink.
He was expected to be condemned at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court in Essex on Monday however was rather dedicated for condemning at Chelmsford Crown Court on August 31.
In court, Thompson said: “I’m not a lawbreaker, sir.”
The court recently heard how police were mixed to the runway at Stansted on May 18 this year after the alert was raised.
He was breathalysed and found to have 50mg per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit for driving in the UK is 35mg.
Footage revealed by The Sun showed Thompson in his uniform, sitting near the exit door as he apparently tries to discreetly drink rosé.
